Tourviaformerly RouteForce

Tourvia formerly RouteForce, a managed package for Salesforce

Salesforce route planning inside Salesforce. From CRM records to a day of visits.

Tourvia is a managed package your Salesforce admin installs. Reps pick Accounts, Leads, Opportunities or Campaign Members on a map, Tourvia sequences the stops, and the day lands in Salesforce as timed Events, mobile visits and visit reports.

  1. 1Fifteen Salesforce records picked on the map, now fifteen numbered stops.
  2. 217.4 km and 44 min of driving for the whole day, sequenced by the Tourvia routing engine.
  3. 3One click creates the 15 visits in the Salesforce calendar. Google Maps handoff and CSV export sit beside it.

A field day

One record, followed through a field day.

A Salesforce record starts as a pin on the map and ends as a line in a Salesforce report. Five stops, all inside Salesforce, nothing re-typed.

Stop 1 still a Salesforce record

On the map

Every geocoded Account, Lead, Opportunity and Campaign Member appears on one map inside Salesforce, filtered on Salesforce fields, clustered where records are dense and coloured by status. Saved filters give the whole team the same view.

Fig. 3Route optimization, 29 seconds. The poster shows a five-stop route between La Défense and central Paris.

Stop 2 a stop with a time

In the route

Pick records one by one, or draw an area and add every record inside it. The Tourvia routing engine orders the stops around the departure time, lunch break, visit duration and end of day, with toll and highway preferences. When an option changes, the schedule is recalculated instead of left stale. Undo and redo are there when the day changes.

Stop 3 a Salesforce Event

In the calendar

One click turns the route into timed Salesforce Events on the right records. Tourvia reads the rep’s existing agenda first and lists any conflict before anything is created. Today’s agenda then shows each visit with its time and its record.

Fig. 7Check-in and check-out, 45 seconds.

Stop 4 a visit with a report

On the phone

In the Salesforce Mobile App the rep opens today’s agenda, hands navigation to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps, and checks in on arrival with a GPS-assisted proximity check. Check-out records the result, next action, notes, satisfaction, order amount and next visit date on the record.

The proximity result depends on device accuracy, geocoding quality and the configured radius. It does not prove identity or physical presence.

Stop 5 a line in a report

In the dashboard

Each visit is standard Salesforce data. Two dashboards and 18 reports come with the package, and admins clone and adjust them like any report in the org. Planned routes can be kept for replay and to compare how a territory was covered.

Where the data goes

Salesforce keeps the records. Tourvia computes the order.

Tourvia is a managed package that reads and writes your Salesforce records. Only a route calculation leaves the org, and it carries coordinates and time constraints, not names or addresses.

Territory 1

Your Salesforce org

System of record. The package runs here as Lightning Web Components.

  • Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Campaign Members with their addresses and geocoordinates
  • Events created from the route on the rep’s calendar
  • Visits and visit reports linked to the record
  • Dashboards and reports, two and 18 included
  • Configuration in Custom Metadata Types, three Permission Set Groups

Names, postal addresses, phone numbers and emails stay in Salesforce.

OutGeocoordinates and time constraints for one calculation
BackThe visit order, with distance and drive time per stop
Territory 2

Tourvia routing service

Operated by Tourvia on OVHcloud in Gravelines, France.

  • Receives coordinates, visit durations, time windows, breaks and working hours
  • Computes the visit order with a constraint-aware engine
  • Returns the sequence to the package in Salesforce
  • Retains nothing: the calculation runs in memory and coordinates are not stored
  • Included in the subscription, with no routing API fees passed through

The routing service transfers no data outside the EU.

The full description is in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement. International routing works where the required road data exists; validate your territories during the trial.

Questions

Questions before you request access.

What is Tourvia?

Tourvia is a Salesforce managed package for route planning, route optimization, visit planning and field execution. It is the current name of RouteForce, with the same package and workflow.

Who is Tourvia for?

Field sales teams that work in Salesforce and want routes, Events, visits and reports tied to their CRM records instead of exported to a separate routing app.

Is Tourvia on the AppExchange?

Yes, through a private listing. TourviaApp passed the Salesforce Security Review on 22 May 2026 and the current 7.34.0.1 build is on the same approved lineage. Access is coordinated with your Salesforce admin after a trial request. Salesforce does not endorse or recommend Tourvia.

How much does Tourvia cost?

€30 excluding tax per licensed user per month, billed annually, which is €360 per user per year. The same price applies at every team size and there is no free plan. See the pricing page.

Where is my data processed?

Salesforce remains the system of record for Accounts, Leads, Opportunities, Campaign Members, Events, visits and reports. A route calculation sends only the geocoordinates and time constraints it needs to the Tourvia routing service hosted by OVHcloud in Gravelines, France, which returns the visit order. Names, addresses, phone numbers and emails stay in Salesforce.

Does the GPS check prove the rep was on site?

No. Check-in uses a configurable GPS-assisted proximity check. Its result depends on device accuracy, geocoding quality and the configured radius, and it does not prove identity or physical presence.

Does Tourvia work outside France?

Tourvia routes internationally where the required road data exists. Validate the territories you need during the 30-day trial.

Does Tourvia work on mobile?

Yes. Tourvia runs in the Salesforce Mobile App with the map, routes, today’s agenda, the GPS-assisted proximity check, visit reports and navigation handoff to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps.
